Why arent we looking at the flip side?
Hi,
Although I agree with you that this could be a systemic problem with the Indian software industry, why is no one considering the possibility that the World Bank could have an extremely corrupt organization.
WB has, over the years, never really covered themselves in glory. Their CIO has been proven corrupt. Is it possible that the WB employees pressurised these firms for "kickbacks"?
If you go thru the press coverage of the Wipro issue, WB and Wipro orally agreed to keep this under wraps in 2007. Wipro has a motive for doing this (their reputation and stock price). What motive did the WB have in agreeing to keep it quiet?
