What I've really learned is that as silly as some people make things like Twitter and Facebook out to be...they are amazingly strong platforms for connecting people. And this isn't me starting a social network for people caring about cancer, this has gotten to people (even if they haven't tweeted, or clicked) to see the word "cancer", and turning away from it is impossible.
Cancer won't go away until we make it go away.
