IT has been good to me.
I may be in the minority, but as jobs go, my experience in IT has been good. Every job has its low points and mine have been no different. But the high points dwarf the low.

Before IT I spent 15 years as a practicing CPA. And as jobs go, it wasn't bad. But sitting behind a desk crunching numbers for 40 to 60 hrs. a week was fast going to be the death of me. So anytime I want to complain about my career path in IT, I think back to those days as a CPA and give thanks for where I'm at today. Even now working for a family corporation and me not having the right last name, as jobs go, all is good.
