Not realistic
Sounds great, but it's not realistic. The variations proliferate so fast no one can keep up. Years ago all you needed was a .com domain. Then came .net and .org. Now there are dozens of national variations. Remember MikeRoweSoft.com? With the number of social networking sites going through the roof, no one can handle those sorts of activities on their own. Just the membership fees would bankrupt a small country.
