The underbelly of relationship marketing is the existence of those who use it for nefarious purposes, whether for profit, for power, or just for malicious mischief.
This weekend's Twitter Phishing attack was probably overdue and hopefully not much damage was caused.
As soon as I realized it was happening I felt in turn dismayed, irritated, disappointed, and then even a bit tired that this media, too, was tainted. After an hour or so I was chuckling at myself and my own, yep, you nailed it, naivete. Just shows that even if you've been around and active for a good while you can still taken.
