Great interview, thanks. This resonated a lot with me as on our site, Experience Project, a fairly large sharpie-lover community arose organically (http://www.experienceproject.com/groups/Love-Sharpies/20106) something that goes to further the point about how people love the brand and will talk about it anywhere they can. It would be interesting to hear what your take would be on how its different to run a social media campaign for a company with brands people are organically talking about (from this interview it sounds like - "go where your customers are talking and participate in that discussion"), versus a company with low- to no-brand recognition and that is trying to get the conversation started in the first place about their brand.
