I thought everyone concluded some time back that ads are not the way to make money from social networking? Certainly, if you wish to suggest your site is a vital business tool and want to make it key to every business professionals working day, flashing up ads is not the way to do it.

But then if LinkedIn WAS an invaluable business tool, perhaps people would pay for it...
