According to AdMod analysis, iPhone OS makes up 48% of
mobile device users on the web in the US and 32%
worldwide. Making it number 1 in the US and number 2
worldwide behind Symbian for phones on the web. This does
not include iPod Touch users which uses the same OS.
Goes to show that usability trumps everything when folks are
