In the war big content providers are waging against their own customers. Selling DRM free content for cheap prices via multiple channels will slow so-called "piracy" down considerably. Why "steal" a song if you can buy it for 15p, at least 10p of that goes straight into the artist's pocket, and you can use it any way you want forever?
