Most of the reviews I've read of Recite have been mildy postive. My guess is it does have trouble with your accent but following that with "regardless of such, it doesn?t work." Doesn't make sense.
More importantly, it is a tech preview, they are putting it out there for feedback, not charging money but just asking people what they think. If you are unable to review a product not even in beta with bubbling over with rage you have larger problems than an app not working.
