Instead, you have go to to the Start menu and select the Phone applications.

The Touch Pro can make calls just like nearly every other cell phone has for the last 10+ years: you hit the phone button (physical button in the lower left hand corner of the phone) and you start typing in your number (or, even easier, just start spelling out the name of the contact, or hit the Contacts soft key to pull up a list of contacts). You can also hit the unintuitively labeled "Phone" softkey from the home screen.

Hanging up is just as easy. Just hit the hang up button (physical button in the lower right hand corner of the phone).

I've commented just today in another post about how Apple apologists seem to go out of their way to act ignorant in order to slam anything not made by Apple. You, sir, are a perfect example of this. It makes it impossible to take anything else you say seriously.
