Deja vu is what it is - but with a twist
Remember OS2?

IBM funded Microsoft to develop both OS2 and DOS. Then MS took that knowledge and made Windows, consequently blowing both OS2 and IBM DOS out of the water.

It seems pretty clear to me IBM has learned a thing or two from it's mistakes, and MS is just repeating a formula that has worked really, really well for it in the past.
