SharePoint is too much of a black hole, we're using YouFig
Interesting article -- SharePoint is indeed a black hole but businesses are going for it because it's "Microsoft" and their optimism that they can work with it and make it work for them. Truth told, it's costly, takes a considerable amount of resources to get it working for your company and I'm not sure it's worth the effort.

That said, we recently started testing YouFig (www.youfig.com), which provides businesses with SaaS collaboration solutions including social networking, user administration, data mining and more, all rolled into one. So far it has worked great for us and contributed information sharing within our teams (we're a small company of just over 50 employees).
