Tried these at a local Bose store. It's essentially the "same as the QC3" but it operates on batteries instead of the rechargeable battery! The headphones do NOT WORK without the battery so you better have spare charged batteries available! The cost is nearly the same which is overpriced! I rarely use my QC3 now and now use Shure SCL-4 for noise isolation which provides better sound and good noise isolation at a FRACTION of the price of the QC headset!
