Great but...
I love that this is going forward at least in California.

My question is why is no one even giving one iota mention of the fact that we already have affordable methanol fuel cells here in the US for sale and everything?

These fuel cells are way cheaper than buying the batteries in plugins, and in fact you could buy a WHOLE lot of methanol for the cost of plugin batteries and bring your fuel with you! Methanol is very flame resistant compared to gasoline, can be made of almost anything including old dirty socks, and actually was about the same cost per gallon as gasoline just a few months ago.

The tremendous efficiency of fuel cells means a very good ROI I would think and where it is used in the manufacturing sector, the reports are absolutely staggering compared to what the car companies want to shove down our throats!

Why are we letting the big three bamboozel us? This is ridiculous!

In fact I have no idea why T. Boon Pickens isn't promoting this, because it is extremely easy to make methanol out of natural gas. And NG is what he has been promoting; but not surprising most folks aren't to excited by CNG cars. With all the high pressure tank requirements, it is just silly not to use methanol instead. NOW!
