Interesting! NYTimes brand will live on.
The NYTimes seems to be more cutting edge than most other
papers. Their Brand is not dead, it has value that needs
to be unlocked in this new era of content everywhere.
They probably will have to keep reducing cost and be more
innovative and risk taking, supporting Linked Data is a
good start.
