Breaking the 1/9/90 rule?
I believe that there will be very little that will cause this rule to be broken. Bent perhaps but not broken.

The entry, sharing, aggregation, and ingestion of information is laborious to the end user in the new information age. Our younger generation, with their ability to multi-task at incredible levels, have time in their early years to participate in this type of activity. This tends to be curtailed when real life responsibilities begin to take hold and spending hours online managing information is no longer feasible. Unless, of course, it becomes part of their daily job spec and these contributors become the experts the rest of us read about. This however, just represents the shift from standard journalism to digital object management.

The rest of us just don't or won't have the time.
