I Agree - DO NOT BUY HP NOTEBOOKS!
I have wasted my money on a HP Pavillion dv9288ea with 17 inch screen and all the specs. Cost me a fortune and just after my 1 year warranty was up, the thing died. I found out there is a known issue with the nvidia graphics card frying either itself or the motherboard as these machines also run far too hot - bad design flaw. HP is still refusing to acknowledge this and will leave you fleeced out of your hard earned money buying what you thought was a great long term investment - NOT!!!
