This is a good announcement for AMD

AMD has not been in the news for quite a while so ANY new is good news. While they are relegated to the "retail ghetto" (credit theinquirer.net for that phrase) this news highlights their brand.

On the flip side, buyers may go to "the ghetto", like what Dell shows ad then buys on the web - advantage Intel.

I'm hopeful AMD gets their act together so we can see more articles here on ZDnet. It's getting boring in here without the Intel vs AMD food fight.
