Too bad it's another locked in carrier!
I love Verizon for its reliable service, and fast
internet. But, Verizon is just as guilty as ATT/Apple
with locked in phones. vCast sucks terribly, and at
times you are forced to use that. Verizon cripples
the Bluetooth functionality so you cant transfer files
or your address book, thus you cant transfer music
(back to forcing you to use vcast)

Oh and GPS, "There's a charge for that!"

Time will tell, but historically, Verizon has forced
customers to buy their services to use things like GPS
or even something as simple as downloading music, all
through hardware restrictions.
