I almost never use a computer for movie watching so why is this even remotely attractive? Most people us computers for editing emails (portrait), creating documents (portrait), viewing web pages (portrait).
VERY FEW people use them for movies on anything like a regular basis. in Portrait mode, Height is the most important measure and inorder to get a screen that is high enough, we now need to buy a computer that is so wide that it doesn't fit in backpacks and is so bulky and/or heavy that they are no longer portable. Any portable laptop (small and light) now have screens that are so short as to make them quite difficult to use without a lot of squinting. We've been HAD people. These are not "wide" screens, they're SHORT screens. It's all a ruse by the screen makers to give us smaller screens while making us think we're getting larger ones. I get particularly ticked off when I see the press getting so totally sucked in by this. - Posted by: mombo Posted on: 09/18/09 (Edited: 09/18/2009 @ 07:36) You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
