Apple announces new iPod touch, nano, shuffle, classic; iTunes 9

Apple still refuses to work with older gen: What's wrong with a 3x5 size ipod? I am older than dirt but I would appreciate a larger format ipod. With the 3x5 size it still fits in a man's shirt pocket and it would be 50% larger than the touch!
