'The Beatles: Rock Band' premieres first in-game video

It's great that Rock Band and Guitar Hero ...

Can introduce new generationS emphasis on the plural, to great music from the past.
I've always had a sense of music history and appreciate older music, but it just dawned on me that a current 19 year old was born in 1990!
I'm not sure why it struck me so profoundly, but that just blows me away for some reason...i think it's that this first decade of the millenium has seemed to evaporate faster than any other for me and probably people of my age.
Time is flying now. Each day that passes after our birth is shorter than those before it(esp. when we were very young), if you look at it relative to your age. It's cliche to say time speeds up after your 20s or even before that, but it really does as you hit that age where you can notice each day is shorter relative to your age (percentage-wise of course), and as we grow past our 20s we literally start to see that, feel it and the realization hits home.

I was starting my career at that time and had finished my masters program and was all done with school before entering the 90s.
I remember when Beatles music was still being played heavily on classic rock stations (still is, just not quite as much).
I guess I wish I could say I saw the Beatles in their day, a stadium show perhaps, but I'm glad for the bands and shows of my own era and all of the good times.
Plus that would make me quite a bit older than I am, so for that part, it wouldn't be worth it.
Sorry to go on about not much of anything, but this Rock Band set made me think about it.
