Oversized iPod or downsized computer?
If the "Apple tablet" is an oversized iPod running the iPhone OS it will fail.

Other computer manufacturers are hard at work with their own multi-touch portable computing devices.

The difference is that the latter will be running Windows 7, a real OS complete with the newfangled multi-touch capabilities.

What device would you rather own, one which is limited to Apples appstore or one which is compatible with your existing SW out of the box?
