Wouldn't connect to AT&T... here's how to fix it.

This isn't the same issue, but mine wouldn't connect to AT&T for a couple of hours after I left the store, so I jumped on Apple's support site to see if something strange was happening. I saw a lot of others having the same trouble and then somebody asked if removing/reinstalling the SIM helped. Suddenly a flood of responses came back saying it worked. I saw later that completely powering the phone off and then back on solved it, too. At any rate, pulling the SIM out for a second brought AT&T up within seconds for me.

So, to anyone about to buy their iPhone - keep that in mind and you can get it to connect immediately when you leave the store.
