- Kindle obsolescence
- I live in Spain, and would have bought any of the Kindles that have so far appeared, if I could have had access to the database. And, when, if, the thing is made available in Europe, I shall certainly buy one. One thing concerns me, however. Amazon seems to be going down the Apple route: no sooner is there a Kindle 1 than there is a Kindle 2, 3, a DX... Bit like the cluncker of a 15 meg iTunes device I bought in Santa Barbara in 2002, when my son has the latest device, costing half the price and holding twice (at least) of the content. Get it right, and stay with it, at least for a decent length of time. Otherwise your purchasers get browned off.
