Just what the doctor ordered
This is good news. I have been looking for a good portable application for finance management, and this might be the trick to get me started.

When I looked at the category in the past, there were a number of small players whose software was cheap but lacking many features. Comparing these programs was time-consuming and expensive, and so without good recommendations on what to buy, I shut down the whole effort.

Now that I'm learning that there are free options available, I may be able to "comparison shop" to see which program fits my needs best.

Hopefully Intuit and others won't mind that a paycheck-to-paycheck type like me just needs to see if that CD purchase is gonna make me late on my cellular phone bill. wink
