Plus hidden cuts in expenses when building those cheap PCs
Old and slower memory, Intel's crappy graphics card and
dirt-cheap screens with low quality incapable of higher
resolutions seem to be the most popular ways to fool
consumers into becoming customers.

Windows is such a bad platform, both from a usability and
security viewpoint, a PC should come with a sticker with a
clear warning, but the most serious "crime" here is the
deception in telling the consumer you're getting something
even nearly as powerful and useful as that $2800 Macbook
pro. It can't technically even compete with the white 13-
inch MacBook.

The problem here is that consumers don't know what they
are purchasing, and the WinPC OEMs are darn well aware of
it. sad
