Don't forget the VW 'Clean Diesel' Tech!
The '09 Jetta is available with VW's new 'Clean Diesel' TDI engine.

I traded in my '04 TDI for an '09 model. What a step up in power and comfort!

50 MPG at 55 MPH, 40 MPG at 80 Mph. And - there's more than 200 ft/lbs of torque at your disposal, so you get a sporty car when you want to accelerate, an economy car when you're ready to just cruise.

Hybrid cars seem like a great deal, until you factor in the anemic acceleration and then the inevitable battery replacement costs. Diesel technology is where the future lies, as Bio-Diesel make more energy-sense than ethanol.
