Alternatively, don't break the law??
It's good of ZDnet to help people who want to be able to break the law without being caught. It's almost as cynical as the British authorities claiming that the 3,300 fixed speed cameras and 3,400 mobile speed cameras in the UK have nothing at all to do with garnering extra revenue (?120m last year from fining two million motorists).

And the facts? Most accident fatalities (according to the UK police) are caused by drivers going too fast FOR THE ROAD CONDITIONS, which means that in most cases, although excessive speed is the killer, the killing speed was below the speed limit.

Speed cameras are "revenue generators" and speed camera detectors are "fine avoidance devices". As for dangerous driving and the un-necessary death of innocents caused by it - neither speed cameras nor speed camera detection devices do anything for road safety.
