- The disclosure is a bit vague, in my opinion
-
It is obvious to all who have owned a cell (or any rechargeable device) the eventually, the battery will need to be replaced. We also understand from past experiences: If all phones before required a new battery after two years, that is the metric at which the knowledge is based on.
If a new automobile battery held the warning that "battery will not last forever. It will eventually need to be replace at some time in the future" would you be upset to find out a month later that they meant 30 days into the future?
Of course you would, as all other replacemnt batteries purchased in the past lasted a year or more before needing replacement.
So no, placing the obvious onto the side of the box is by no means a disclosure of any sort. The disclosure should have been given a time frame indicating it will not last a long as other batteires in other phones had lasted in the past - Posted by: GuidingLight Posted on: 09/26/08 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
