Awesome, but
The Apple ][ was based on the 6502 processor, which I'm not even sure is even produced today. They'd probably have better success with a Zilog Z-80 derivative or even a Motorola Dragonball which powered the Palm Pilots. At least the 68000-derived dragonball could run uClinux. You'd need a totally new OS to run on a 6502 or even a z80, unless they want to port a TCPIP and graphics stack to some abandonware OS which they have source code to.

Nope, I stand corrected, you can still get 6502's.
