- My home Wifi cost $120

For the router/hub/firewall, a second AP/hub/printserver, and 2 USB Wifi NICs for desktop computers that did not have Wifi built in. The 3 laptops in the family all came with Wifi onboard. For an upgrade, I will spring $30 for an accessory antenna, but only reluctantly since it will mean my son in the loft bedroom will consume more bandwidth with his presumably improved signal
