Is the Flip's time up?
How can its time be up when it never took off in the first place? I've never even seen a Flip. I've seen oodles of iPhones and other similarly featured phones.

I think the more correct question is whether the single featured handheld device's time is up now that the multi-featured handheld device is catching on. Even plain old cell phones, whose only features was to make phone calls and store phone numbers, are dying.
