Panasonic
I recently purchased a Panasonic FZ28B Camera, and it is hands-down the best Camera I've ever owned.

The Auto-Intelligent system actually works!

I've had several Canon's. Yes, they take good pictures but the AI system never worked right. Not on a single one of them. Indoor shots always came out yellow because the AI could not get the white-balance correct. It's been a failing of Canon's system as long as I can remember.

Including my last Canon, a Rebel Xti. I liked the Rebel. Bought all sorts of goodies for it. But, I was never able to take great pictures with it. The auto system was not spot-on, and once you turn it off, well, let's just say the thing was over my head happy

I accidentally caught the strap on a cart and it pulled the Rebel out of my hands, and it fell to the floor. It broke the flash unit off. I could have spent a few hundred I suspect to get it fixed, but since I was never really happy with it I sold it as is to someone who needed one, and only shot outdoor pictures.

I used the money to buy the Panasonic and I've never been happier. Indoor shots under full AI are perfect.
