Is it me or is this really so disingenuous?
You almost imply that there were no camera phones before the iphone, and definitely say that most are far worse. And that the camera has changed your life because because it's on an iphone.

Maybe for you, but most of us have used our camera phones for years before the iphone. Makes me wonder what you used before this. My Motoralas, my Sony P80 and P90, my Nokia N65 with 6Gig pixels (yep, twice as many as iphone but still rarely used by me) and now my Blackberry with flash. Many even had quite decent video for that spur of the moment shot.

Most phones I've had have similar functions and they are rarely used but novel from time to time as you say. Luckily the apps are cheap, which does make you wonder about them.

I don't mind the iphone but it's photos aren't delivering something that I haven't seen before or that will change my life; Yet. Some of the banking apps are looking useful so maybe one day I'll find a need for one, but not yet.
