While I agree the Olympus Stylus Tough-6000, is a good camera for being a bit tougher, if you are out in third-world countries or anywhere in remote areas, this would not be a camera I would pick due to it using a Li-ion battery. You would have to either have a lot of very expensive spares or power to charge them. When will the mfgs ever get it, AA are very easy to find, and even solar chargers for them are out for AA, try to find that for Li-ion. I always buy one with AA, I bought a few with Li-ion, but was very unhappy, battery was shot within a year, then they were 40+ dollars, took at least 1 hr or longer to charge. I have a Olympus that takes 4AA and have used the camera and 2 sets for several years. Take note mfgs, this has been in many stories, we want AA!!!
