Wired says: Autofocus likely

Wired:

"In the same place they discovered the video camera interface,
developers also unearthed a configuration file alluding to an auto-
focus camera. Not quite as exciting, but that would likely be a
hardware feature in the next iPhone as well."

The autofocus screen shots from Macrumors.com shows quite a bit of
improvement from previous model camera. Supposedly you point to
an object on the screen and the camera focuses on it which is cool.

Of course whether rumor will pan out is still to be seen.
