I'd like to add, would be a STABLE tripod. The Bogen/Manfrotto 190XDB tripod with the 486RC2 ball head is an excellent choice for less than $200. The tripod is quite heavy, but stable as a rock. It has other features, and is quite versatile. I like the choices for camera accessories here, but number one, should be a good tripod.
