Comparing the Wrong Things
You don't buy a body like this for the camera only. You buy into a system. I.e., what you should be comparing in particular if you're in the market is the lenses you may buy, not the body. Your decision should be made based on the quality of the photographs you get as well. Even if the ISO settings and the megapixels were identical, you'd still get different photographs out of the two. At the same time, whether you get 12.3 or 10.1 megapixels is fairly unimportant for most people. Finally, the devil is frequently in the details. For instance, how many and which of the autofocus points are cross-type sensors, and which aren't? What is their sensitivity?
