Right on!
However, IT projects are not the only place to "Trash" millions of dollars.
I specialize in SOX compliance projects, and base my methodologies on
IT project management. The failure rates must be even higher for SOX,
but all the reasons and results and denials are the same. I call these
"yacht projects" (i.e.) a hole in the water lined with wood or fiberglass
where you throw money to get rid of it without affecting anything.
