If You've Got the Money, You'll Spend It On Something

While I personally believe that we have more important things to do in this world than to buy toys, I think those who have substantial money will be spending it in some manner. The list of people who have 3 million or more they can spend must be pretty long considering we now have a pretty long list of billionaires. Either we require everyone to spend everything they own beyond a certain amount on altruistic causes, or we let them buy what they want - which is kind of one of the major points of capitalism. Once they can buy what they want, why not a jet? Is $3 million spent on land, or vacations, or an island better spent?
