Need to use facts and make them real, not tenuous 'proofs'
A lot of the debate seems to be centred around personalities and their need for acknowledgement of 'their' ideas.

'I know because I am a scientist' means nothing, because to most, 'science' is just opinion, like history. It is often shrouded by the excessive importance given to relatively minor 'facts' and their overblown influence upon events. A lot of the arguments are over trees when the whole forest is at stake.

Climate science needs to focus on the major influences of climate and how they are, or not, affected by human endeavours.

We need truth, not superfluous opinions.
