- Seriously... "Carbon Offsets" is a scam in itself. This is beyond insane. You want to be "green", that's fine with me, but once they start imposing mandatory carbon taxes on anyone that's still dumb enough to manufacture things in the United States, it will just be another hidden tax for the corporations & banks that OWN the government.. McCain and Obama are just puppets for huge corporations, just look at who paid for their campaigns. I give it a couple more years until they make carbon taxes mandatory.
