Does "oil" have a negative spin?

Add this to your clue bag.: I know that in the green/liberal/socialist world there is a tendency to come up with a simple slogan and then repeat it as loudly as possible and as often as possible until you hammer it into people's heads. However for the rest of us, saying "Oil" once is probably enough for us to get the idea.

By the way, I did follow your link to the executive summary and what did I find? Well, the top 1/4th or so of the page is taken up by a big picture of an off-shore oil rig. Also, for those who still don't get it, the word "Oil" is actually used five times in the executive summary as part of "Oil and natural gas exploration" and "Oil and natural gas leases". So are you somehow implying that they are hiding the fact that their plan involves drilling?

Then again polls taken during the 2008 election indicated that 60% of the public was in favor of increased domestic drilling (off-shore and otherwise) so what reason would they have to hide it other than from the lefties who figure they know what's best for us?; Posted by: cornpie Posted on: 07/27/09 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
