International Polar Year: data on climate change

Warming: Aside from large brains, opposing thumbs and the ability to walk on 2 legs, humans have something else that is unique among the animal world. Guilt.

The world is warming and humans first inclination is to feel that we're at fault. The second is we should do something about it. The science is spotty at best in regard to fault. But despite what the press would have us believe, in my opinion, global warming is like the meteor heading for Earth. It might be there, it may change everything, but there is nothing we can do about it.
