Isn't that a river in Egypt?

Wow. You come across like someone who's religion has just been questioned. I thought you liberals were all about Truth and Science now that your Chosen One has been anointed? Well, I am pleased to inform you that one of the fundamental pillars of the Scientific Method is keeping an open mind, something sorely lacking among the Chicken Littles that form Big Al's army. There is still considerable debate about climate change, and so far the data collected and analyzed is inconclusive regarding Mankind's influence on any observed change.

Way back in the day when I went to school, I learned that our climate has been warming for the last 10000 years as we gradually come out of the last ice age. We also learned about the cyclical nature of our planet's climate. What we didn't learn about was how our race is destroying the planet and that the sky will fall if we don't change our evil ways, as that particular religion had not been invented yet.

Here is an idea: How about we let the scientists, the real ones, not the proselytizers, pursue their craft and figure this all out without outside interference from either side?
