Peak oil? give me a break.
Are you talking about liquid oil? Then maybe. But how about tar sands, or oil shale? Are you saying we can't or won't get oil from those (enormous) supplies?
Oil at $1/barrel (which I hear is what it costs the Saudis to extract it) may indeed be past peak. But if you set your target at, say, $5 or $50 a barrel then you suddenly have an entirely different situation.
