The fact is that there is no 'housing surplus' in most parts of the United States that have ANOTHER thing that is important: J O B S!

We need to start taking out of the equation places where there is surplus housing... but no jobs. Once we did that, we would see that 'sprawl' is not as bad as people make it out to be.

The fact is also that cities have a higher crime rate than the rest of the United States in general because you have people PACKED IN like sardines, getting on their neighbors nerves, etc.
Until we realize that we don't WANT people packed in together like that and that is causes more problems than it solves... things are not going to get better.

As to coal.... it's pretty clean power, once you disregard that CO2 BS that you keep on hearing. Let's face facts: humans, animals, etc. make MORE CO2 than ALL the coal plants in the US put together!

Are we going to start genocide each other to stop THAT source of CO2? Only an insane person would say yes to that question.
