What DIDN'T help their cause...
...was the fact that the CEOs of both GM and Ford travelled to Washington on their private corporate jets. It was reported that GM has not one, not two, not three, but EIGHT freakin' corporate jets. Hell, if Palin can sell a plane on eBay (well, it didn't actually SELL on eBay), then let them sell some of their jets as a show of good faith. Then, let them extract some concessions from the UAW, so that the UAW can show some good faith.

Two more shows of bad faith was when a reporter asked said CEOs of GM and Ford why they chose to cost each of their corporations $20,000 to travel to D.C. on private jet, as opposed to simply flying commercial, more to the tune of $1,500 to $2,000. Their replies? None. They ingored the reporter and walked away.

Waaaaayyy too much of an attitude of entitlement all around. My attitude of entitlement? I think I'm entitled to not have my tax dollars pay for your private jets.
